Three rooms and a table.
Sunday is where we gather. The rest of the week is where we actually get to know each other.
Sunday is where we gather. The rest of the week is where we actually get to know each other.
That is not a slogan, it is the shape of the thing. So there are three rooms here, and you can walk into any one of them without being ready, qualified, or sure. And when a room of twelve is not where you would start, there is a table instead. One person, across from you.
You can be in more than one room. You only ever take one step at a time.
Where you're welcomed.
A shared thing rather than a shared study — a meal, a court, a stroller route, a block, a project. Somebody hosts; nobody teaches. Drop in, drop out. Bring a neighbor who would never say yes to a Bible study.
Where you grow.
Most weeks, in a home or on Zoom, across Brooklyn. A trained leader, three months minimum, and the same faces long enough that they notice when you are not there. Bring a neighbor, a friend, or your family — you do not need permission.
Where you're needed.
A real job and a crew to do it with, after your first six months here. You are not signing up to run anything; you are taking a role in a rotation.
Where someone walks with you.
One person, a kitchen table or a coffee shop. For shift work, a newborn, a schedule that will not hold still — or something you would not say in a room of twelve.
Not sure which? Ask anyone at the Welcome table on Sunday, or tell us where you are and a real person will write back.
