Church planting Team

Richie Cancel grew up in Brooklyn, NY until high school when he moved to Torrance, CA. Richie married Sarah, his high school sweetheart and at the Lords calling they moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2000. For the last 25 years he has served in big and small churches in various capacities. The joy of his life has been to serve the Lord with his wife Sarah, and raise five beautiful children.
Currently, Richie is bi-vocational (as a NYC Teacher) following God’s calling in church planting to encourage and equip believers to start Christ-centered home groups. The ministry Calvary Life is based in Marine Park, Brooklyn.  Pastor Richie is also his honor to be part of the Bridge Radio Ministry to share timely and applicable verse by verse messages right here in his backyard of Brooklyn.  You can listen to Growing Undone Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Steve was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised there until his family moved to Amarillo, TX in 1994.  After completing High School, he returned to Southern California to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications and continued living there before moving to New York City in 2012.
While living in Brooklyn, NY, he met Jesus Christ and has been serving in various capacities ever since. Steve married his wife, Evamaria, in 2016 who is also his co-laborer in ministry. Together they lead the Calvary Life Youth Group as well as the Bilingual Bible Study for our Marine Park Life Group. Steve founded Pixel Church in 2019, a design studio and Calvary Life ministry partner, that produces Christian apparel and mentors young creatives in graphic design, business, and technology.
