Plan Your Visit

Come as you are.

Visiting a new church can feel like a lot. So here's everything you'd want to know before you walk in: when to come, where to park, what happens with your kids, and what a Sunday is like. Nobody will put you on the spot. You're welcome here.

Want to hear it from someone else? Read our Google reviews.

Let us know you're coming.

It's optional, but it helps us look out for you. Fill out the form below and choose "Hello, I'm new to Calvary." Someone from our team will get back to you, and there's a small thank-you gift waiting for you at the Welcome table.

What to expect

Parking

Parking in Brooklyn can be a challenge. Doors open at 9:15, and street parking on Coney Island Avenue is usually easiest if you arrive before 9:30. There's more on the side streets.

A warm welcome

Come through the front door and you'll find friendly people and the sound of kids getting ready for Sunday school. Our greeters will say hello and answer any questions.

Stop by the Welcome table in the foyer. Let us know it's your first time and sign in, and we'll give you a small thank-you gift.

Your kids

Kids have their own Sunday school classes while the adults have worship and teaching. Someone at the Welcome table will walk you to kids' check-in and explain how pickup works.

Every volunteer who works with children completes a Ministry Application and a background check. More about Calvary Kids.

Sanctuary

Coffee after

After the service, head to the community room past the sanctuary. Our hospitality team sets out coffee, bagels and snacks. Stay and meet people. It's the best part of the morning.
