Host a Community Group
The lightest one. Pick the thing you are already doing — a meal, a court, a walk, a project — set a night, and invite the people already around you. Somebody hosts; nobody teaches. There is no curriculum, nothing to prepare, and no one is going to ask you to lead a discussion.

Host or lead a LIFE Group
These are two jobs, and often two people.
A host opens their home, puts the coffee on, and makes people feel expected. A leader takes the group through the passage.
One person can do both, and plenty do. But if you are willing to host and you are not the teacher — say so. We will assign a leader to your group, and you will have started a group without ever having to prepare a study. That is a real and honorable way in, and we need more of it than we need more teachers.
What each one carries
What a host provides: a room that seats eight to twelve, a night you can keep, and a season — roughly three to four months — before deciding whether to carry on.
What a leader carries: the study, the group's care, and a coach of their own. Leaders are approved, trained and background-checked, and nobody leads alone.

Take a role on a Serving Team
Not a group of your own — a job and a crew, after you have been here six months. You serve shoulder to shoulder rather than face to face, and that is its own kind of discipleship.
