Jonah 1 - Mercy Revealed
Everything that happens to Jonah in chapter one is mercy.
The word that comes to him. The storm that breaks over him. The pagan sailors who pray while the prophet sleeps. Even the great fish. None of it is God punishing a runaway prophet — all of it is God refusing to lose him.
