Micah 1 opens like a courtroom and ends like a funeral. God calls the whole

earth as witness, steps out of His place, and comes down — and the first thing the prophet does when he sees it is start crying. Before Micah says a word about Samaria or Jerusalem, his own name has already asked the question the whole book exists to answer: who is like the Lord?

"For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down

And tread on the high places of the earth." — Micah 1:3 (NKJV)

In this message we walk through the whole chapter: the court that gets called, the sentence that falls on the capitals, and the prophet who refuses to announce the funeral from a safe distance. Micah names small towns nobody in the capital could find on a map — because God knows your block, too.
